About Lynda M. Brennan LMHC, Psychotherapist in Palm Beach Gardens

Lynda M. Brennan

I am a licensed mental health counselor (MH #11730) with over 20 years experience working in various capacities.  I earned my undergraduate degree in Social Psychology at Florida Atlantic University and a master of science in Mental Health Counseling at Nova Southeast University.  For many years, I worked as a therapist in substance abuse and mental health treatment field.  That experience helped inform my desire to work with trauma, as most people with addiction or mental health issues have a history of trauma.  As an EMDR therapist, I have helped many people reduce their trauma effects, grief, addictions and distress . I am also a trained tobacco addiction counselor, having been schooled at Mayo Clinic and UMass.  My other areas of expertise include process addictions (like gambling, spending), adult child issues, mid-life women's issues, trauma, grief & loss and couple's issues.
